Qatar National Dialogue on Climate Change 2022

Organized by Earthna, Qatar Foundation, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, and The Al Attiyah Foundation, the event aims to support Qatar’s goal of sustainable development and its climate change action efforts, which include the country’s commitment to the Paris Agreement and its pledge to deliver a carbon-neutral FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

The two-day event is also intended to help the nation present a climate action strategy, with the public and private sectors working in collaboration, to a global audience when the world comes together at COP27 in Egypt to address climate change on a global level.

This year, the QND4CC will host conversations and discussions on:

  • Qatar’s National Climate Action - Updates and Future Plan
  • Climate Finance, from the opportunity to action: challenges and solutions
  • Climate Change: Governance and Intergovernmental collaboration
  • Mitigation and adaptation solutions for Qatar.
